Does anyone have a cleaning schedule you go by daily?
Question by mommycturner: Does anyone have a cleaning schedule you go by daily?
I am a stay at home. I have a 5 yr old and 2 yr old so cleaning is getting better; but still not easy; even though I do what I can every day. I want to do the whole house everyday. I can’t just do certain rooms on certain days; tried that it doesn’t work for me? I do the flylady; and its great; but she just helps with certain areas each day. I need a cleaning schedule for each room each day. Also any motivation tips would be great to. Thanks.

My mom swears by plain baking soda and water. It works on stainless steel sinks and pots and pans and stuff. As far as grease…..well, a good “de-greaser” such as BAM or KABOOM. I got something at Home Depot that worked pretty well on a lot of surfaces. It’s called Crud Cutter. Good Luck!

What is the quietest and best cleaning dishwasher?
Question by R C: What is the quietest and best cleaning dishwasher?
I am looking for a dishwasher that is quiet, and cleans and dries really well. My current one is a Kenmore Elite, and I have NEVER been pleased with it. I’ve only had it for about three years, and not even a year into owning it, it stopped drying and left spots and detergent stains on all of my dishes. I am very disappointed in it, and would rather not go with a kenmore again. Thanks!!

How can I get my ceramic tile grout to come clean?
Question by : How can I get my ceramic tile grout to come clean?
The grout between my ceramic tile is severely stained. The only thing that gets it clean is scrubbing with a grout cleaner from Home Depot on my hands and knees with a Sonic Scrubber. It takes all day, and only stays lean for a few days. I will not do that again. Does anyone know of a cleaner that will get the grout really clean just by mopping with it? When I mop with regular mopping products, there is no change in the dirty look of the grout. Thanks.

I hear toothpaste, the white kind, is supposed to do the trick. I found this out while looking for tips on how to get hair dye stains out. Also scrubbing bubbles foaming spray is really good to get pretty much anything cleaned. That and the Mr. Clean eraser sponge.

Vinegar and Baking Soda for cleaning?
Question by Colleen D: Vinegar and Baking Soda for cleaning?
I have been using this to clean for years now, scrubbing the sink and tub, washing counters, cleaning drains. I always figured that the vinegar was acidic enough to eliminate most bacteria. Am I right or wrong, and if I’m wrong is there a better way to clean that is natural? I refuse to buy antibacterial products (although I guess I do use a 10% bleach solution, which by its nature is antibacterial, from time to time, but only when it is absolutely necessary) and most commercially produced cleaners. Does Seventh Generation or any of those other Eco-friendly products work better than the baking soda and vinegar method?

You can buy tile and grout cleaner at places like Lowe’s. They have it in the tile section. If you don’t want to purchase something like that, you can use bathtub cleaner. It won’t work as well, though.
